Hi, my name is Kristian, im a 23 year old Theatrical design student from Pelarco, Chile, currently linving in Santiago. I really love to explore light and the technology to produce and control lights sources. I have 2 very little brothers, Sebastian age 9 and Clemente age 2, i really love to play with the and watch movies, one of the time we really enjoy with them is playing with lego, i play the drums and Clemente is learning really fast to play listening to Queen! He love to sing while playing.

Because of the pandemic i can have more time with them especially becouse they still live in Pelarco while i am in Santiago, but now i have spend an entire month with them in the countryside. I really miss going to theater, but i been trying to make online plays.

    Hi Kristian, it sounds like that u r a good brother haha so sweet:) When my brother was 6 years old, He loved the Lego, but now he is 17 years old , and we Collect the Lego's.

  Hi! This week we have to talk about our favorite piece of technology and it's a very hard question to answer, everything around us is very technologic nowadays. When I was around fourteen I entered for the first time at the projection area of an old cinema in Talca and it was amazing! Seeing the machines that project the films onto the screen i feel like i was Toto in cinema paradiso! There's an history about how when Thomas Edison wrote the patent to the cinema (although others have previously make cinema machines in europe) he patented the “images in movement”  I think even if I hate that patent and the idea that all the images come from his invention, I cannot find a better word to my favorite piece of technology, the images in movement. I really cannot recommend enough the Maximo Gorki poem “Last night I was in the Kingdom of Shadows” when he described the first time he saw the Lumiere brothers show, the first cinema-like spectacle, in black and white and with no sound....

I landed into study theatrical design as a way to merge my interest in various topics in my life. Since I was 6 y/o  I study in a municipal school in Talca that also has in the school program arts related hours, and when I was in 4th grade they offered you the possibility of attending classes of one artistic subject 3 times a week.  My father works as a painter although he never finished her own studies in arts (I think he took the basic class in visual arts in our faculty in the time it longed 2 years) and since I was a baby there have been paintings, brushes,open pots of paint and chemicals for painting around the house.
